Due to popular demand the PSP Electronic Information Committee (EIC) is holding it's second series of the Seminar Series on Selected Topics in Electronic Publishing with new topics and new speakers
The programs are targeted to staff new to electronic publishing at member organizations and address the transition underway from print to the electronic side of scholarly and professional publishing.
In-person spaces are limited to 18 but webinar spaces are unlimited

Starting with a brief overview of copyright fundamentals, this hour long session will feature an interview with copyright expert Lois Wasoff conducted by PSP Vice President and Executive Director John Tagler.The interview will highlight the copyright compliant ways of sharing information within the publishing organization.John and Lois will discuss ways to maximize the value of your company's content and your rights management resources.Delving into the important issues of external marketing; answering questions about what you can send to your customers, addressing potential pitfalls in developing sales collateral, marketing campaigns, and presenting content in conference settings, you will leave thisseminar prepared to make decisions about the proper use of content in your workflow.The program will also feature a question and answer session.
