  • Academic/Scholarly
    Individuals, entities and organizations that are primarily involved in conducting or supporting educational activities (including related research and publishing activities) or representing the individuals, entities or organizations that conduct or support such activities. (e.g., Brookings Institution, etc.).

    Entities and organizations that represent and advocate the interests of identifiable constituencies in the political and public policy arena; includes trade and industry associations, unions, membership groups, and so-called “think tanks” (e.g., Heritage Foundation, etc.).

    Government and non-government entities and organizations that primarily operate and/or focus their efforts on political and public policy interests that extend beyond the borders of the United States.
